It will enhance growth in asparagus and spinach if planted nearby, while it will gain enhanced growth if beans or peas are planted nearby.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dill<\/strong>\u00a0-FAVORABLE- Cabbage<br \/>\n<strong>Dill\u00a0<\/strong>-ADVERSE- Carrots<\/p>\n<p><strong>Garlic<\/strong>\u00a0-FAVORABLE- Beets, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, eggplant, kale, lettuce, chili and bell peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, and ALL fruit trees<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Garlic<\/strong>\u00a0-ADVERSE- Aphids, beans, peas, spider mites, weevils<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Beets and cabbage will have improved flavor if planted with garlic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mint<\/strong>\u00a0-FAVORABLE- Beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbages, cauliflower, chili and bell peppers, Chinese cabbage, eggplant, kale, lettuce, peas, squash, tomatoes<strong><br \/>\nMint<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>-ADVERSE- Ants, aphids, chamomile, earwigs, mealbugs, parsley, slugs, snails, spider mites<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Some consider mint a weed as it will spread very quickly. It also likes a fertile, loamy soil and will seek out better soil conditions if needed, moving over large spaces to do so.<br \/>\n&#8211; Planting mint near peas, cabbage or tomatoes will improve their flavor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oregano<\/strong>\u00a0-FAVORABLE- Broccoli, butter lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Oregano<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>-ADVERSE- Cabbage butterfly, cucumber beetle<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Be mindful of where you plant oregano, as it will spread like a weed. A side benefit of oregano is that its blooms will attract butterflies (pretty!)
