What is Microsoft System Center?

The following description is taken from the Microsoft website:

“System Center 2012 is a comprehensive management platform that helps you to easily and efficiently manage your datacenters, client devices, and hybrid cloud IT environments.”

So, what does this really mean, for those of you not familiar with the System Center suite of products?  In a nutshell, the System Center suite  allows organizations to establish standardization, workflow automation and control over their environment, whether it consists of workstations, servers, virtual machines, or cloud solutions.  Each product has its own unique benefit enabling an organization’s staff to do what they do best – solve problems and satisfy their clients.  The end result is a higher ROI on technology investments.
